Hon Abarshi Musa Inspects Ongoing Gov Kefas Road Projects In Ussa Local Government

The Executive Chairman of Ussa Local Government Council, Hon. Abarshi Musa has led a delegation of council officials on an inspection tour of ongoing road projects initiated by Governor Agbu Kefas across the area.

The team inspected the Takum–Lissam road, a major project linking Takum to the headquarters of Ussa LGA. Upon arrival at the project site, Hon. Abarshi Musa was received by the project engineer, Mr. Fin Shuwan, who assured the chairman that the construction was progressing according to specification and would be completed within the agreed timeline.

Hon. Abarshi urged the construction company to promptly notify him of any challenges requiring government intervention, emphasizing his readiness to support the project for timely delivery.

The chairman also inspected the Takum–Kpambo road, where he reaffirmed the government's commitment to extending development to all parts of Ussa. He assured residents that the Kpambo–Fikyu and Kpambo–Puri roads would receive attention in the near future.

Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Musa noted that the Takum–Lissam road was one of the priority projects of Governor Agbu Kefas. He explained that although the administration had planned to commence work earlier, the huge debt inherited by the governor at the time delayed immediate takeoff. Despite this, he said, the current progress reflects the governor's determination to open up rural areas through critical infrastructure.

He appealed to the people of Ussa to continue supporting Governor Kefas, noting that their cooperation is key to the success of the government's ambitious infrastructure drive.

The chairman was accompanied on the inspection by councilors, security chiefs, community leaders, and youth leaders from various communities within Ussa LGA.
