Unity and Love Group Endorses Titong for Re-election in Gembu Constituency

The Unity and Love Group has reaffirmed its support for the re-election of Hon. Abduraziz Suleiman Titong, member representing Gembu Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly, citing his contributions to community development and efforts to facilitate opportunities for its members.

The group made its position known during a courtesy visit to the lawmaker, where it expressed appreciation for his support in securing employment opportunities and facilitating political appointments for members of the community.

In a statement signed by its leader, Lilies Lawrence, the group particularly commended Titong for his role in the recent employment exercise at the Taraba State Health Management Board, through which one of its members reportedly secured employment.

The group also acknowledged his alleged contribution to the appointment of Hon. Charles Akawu as adviser to the chairman of Sardauna Local Government Area, as well as his influence in securing other appointments by the Taraba State Government.

According to the group, such interventions demonstrate the importance of political representation that creates opportunities for constituents and ensures their inclusion in government affairs.

It said its decision to reaffirm support for Titong's re-election was based on its assessment of his leadership and contributions to the community.

Responding, Titong thanked the group for the visit and assured its members of his continued commitment to the development of Panso community.

He also pledged to do more for the people and work towards ensuring that Panso receives adequate representation in government decision-making processes.

The group said the lawmaker's assurances had strengthened its confidence in maintaining a constructive relationship with him, adding that unity, peace and collaboration between leaders and community members were essential for sustainable development.

It also called for continued cooperation among residents to promote a shared vision for the community.
