Anfani Bandawa: I will defeat Shuaibu Lau

The Senatorial Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC for Taraba North, Barrister Anfani Bandawa has expressed confidence of defeating the current senator, Shuaibu Lau in the forthcoming general elections election.

Barrister Anfani Bandawa who stormed the NDC Secretariat in Jalingo attributed poor representation of the zone at the Senate to reason behind the lack of infrastructural development.

He decried how the road linking Jalingo to Lau over the years has not been completed and enjoined people of Taraba North to have confidence in him and as well vote him in the general elections.

The NDC Senatorial Candidate maintained that rigging of elections will no longer be tolerated as the NDC is well equiped to track any manipulation.

Barrister Anfani Bandawa called on NDC members to sheathe their swords and work collectively for the success of the party.l

He maintained his stance not to be intimidated while going on his campaign because it is the right of all citizens to do so.

The Senatorial candidate promised to provide jobs, scholarship for youths, empower the vulnerable, road construction and infrastructural development.

Responding, Leader of the NDC in Taraba State, Comrade Richard Dauda Achiaregeh assured the NDC Senatorial candidate of full support to succeed, explaining that the party believes in the drive and his tenacity to make the difference in leadership.

Youths, women and elders have ealier welcomed Barrister Amfani Bandawa from the Danbaba Suntai Airport chanting songs of solidarity.
