What I Will Do Differently As Assembly Member – Ex-Beauty Queen Sarah Bulus

A former beauty queen and model, Hon. Sarah Bulus, has outlined what she intends to do differently if elected to represent Lau State Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly in the 2027 elections.

Bulus, who recently declared her intention to contest the seat, said her ambition is driven by a strong desire to address the socio-economic challenges affecting her community, particularly at the grassroots level.

Speaking with journalists, she explained that her years of humanitarian work since 2017 have given her a clear understanding of the daily struggles faced by residents across the local government area.

"My aim is to make life easier for everyone, especially the less privileged," she said.

The former beauty queen pledged to adopt a people-oriented approach to representation, focusing on policies and programmes that would have direct impact on ordinary citizens.

She identified her key priorities to include access to clean drinking water, improved healthcare services, and quality education for children in the constituency.

"A child of a nobody should be able to go to school and learn something," Bulus said, stressing her commitment to inclusive and accessible education.

She also revealed that consultations with constituents have been ongoing since last year, noting that her approach to leadership would be anchored on participatory governance and community-driven development.

Bulus expressed optimism about her chances in the election, stating that her mission to serve the people of Lau State Constituency has already begun.

She assured that if elected, she would work to translate her vision into tangible and measurable results that would improve the lives of her constituents.
