Kefas’ Projects Unprecedented in Ussa, Says Abershi Musa

 

 

The Chairman of Ussa Local Government Area, Hon. Abershi Musa, has lauded the developmental projects being executed by Governor Agbu Kefas in the council area, describing the governor's passion and commitment as unprecedented.

 

Musa said the ongoing Takum–Lissam road project has reached about 70 per cent completion, noting that equipment for the Lissam General Hospital has already been delivered and is awaiting the completion of the road for commissioning.

 

He also highlighted ongoing school rehabilitation projects under the governor's initiative, stating that identified schools across the area are being upgraded to provide a conducive teaching and learning environment in line with the state's free education policy.

 

On security, the council chairman said proactive measures introduced by the governor are yielding positive results, with relative peace gradually being restored across Ussa. He assured that the local council is complementing the state government's efforts through regular engagement with communities to foster collaboration aimed at sustaining peace and development.

 

Musa urged herders and farmers to tolerate one another and respect mutual rights, stressing that peace remains the foundation for meaningful development.

 

He warned troublemakers to desist from fomenting unrest and instead channel their time and resources into productive ventures, adding that the council, in collaboration with the state government, is determined to change the narrative in the area.

 

The chairman appealed to all residents of Ussa to embrace peace and unity in order to achieve sustainable development and leave enduring legacies for future generations.
