Munazzamatu Fitiyanul Islam Inaugurates New Leadership in Taraba

The Munazzamatu Fitiyanul Islam has inaugurated newly appointed leaders of its Taraba State chapter at a ceremony held in Jalingo, the state capital.

Speaking at the event, the Khalifa of the organisation, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad, disclosed that Munazzamatu Fitiyanul Islam was founded about 40 years ago, with a mandate rooted in Islamic values, discipline and service to humanity.

He explained that members of the organisation often make personal sacrifices, including contributing their personal resources and enduring health risks, to attend Islamic gatherings and engage in humanitarian and community service activities. He expressed gratitude to the national leadership of the organisation for honouring the event with their presence and for their consistent commitment to the growth and development of the group.

In his remarks, the National Director of the organisation, Alhaji Kabiru Ahmad Gusau, who was represented by the National Organising Secretary, Mallam Muhammad Nazifi Sa'idu, said the organisation's core mission is to provide assistance to both Muslims and non-Muslims. According to him, its activities include health-related interventions, social welfare support, and the establishment of Islamiyya schools, literacy centres and mosques across communities.

Also speaking, the National Instructor of the organisation, Mallam Yakubu Jibril Ibrahim, noted that Munazzamatu Fitiyanul Islam has recorded steady progress over the years. He stressed that the organisation continues to operate on the principles and leadership structure upon which it was founded, urging the newly inaugurated leaders to discharge their responsibilities with wisdom, dedication and the fear of Allah.

In his vote of thanks, the newly inaugurated State Commander of the Taraba State chapter, Mallam Bello Muhammad, expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and described the appointment as a great responsibility. He called on fellow leaders and members to work in unity and cooperation to further strengthen the organisation in the state.

Other officials inaugurated include Mallam Aminu Lawan as Secretary, Munniru Takum as Deputy Commander I, Hassan Gembu as Deputy Commander II, Nuhu Dahiru as Treasurer, and Sabi'u Sa'idu as Parade Commander, alongside other members of the state executive.

The event attracted prominent Islamic scholars and leaders, including Sheikh Habibu Almaki, Chairman of the Muslim Council, as well as leaders of Munazzamatu Fitiyanul Islam from various local government areas and members of the organisation.
