Aunty Zee Engages Jalingo Women on APC E-Registration

The Deputy National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, popularly known as Aunty Zee, has mobilised women from the ten wards of Jalingo Local Government Area of Taraba State on the ongoing electronic registration (e-registration) exercise of the party.

The engagement programme, held at the C2C Multi-Purpose Hall, Jalingo, attracted women leaders and representatives from across the wards of the local government area.

The exercise officially commenced with Aunty Zee performing her own e-registration under Sarkin Dawaki Ward. The event was held under the theme "APC Taraba Women Mobilisation for Membership, E-Registration" and featured the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, and the APC National Deputy Women Leader, Hajiya Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim.

Addressing participants, Aunty Zee charged the women to demonstrate commitment to the progress of the APC by actively enrolling as registered members of the party. She explained that the e-registration exercise was aimed at creating an accurate database of party members nationwide.

According to her, "As the ruling party, APC needs reliable data of its members to plan effectively. The e-registration will help the party capture gender, age and the actual number of members, and also determine who is who within the party."

She stressed that benefits derived from the party would be based on loyalty, commitment and active participation, noting that e-registration is the only credible means of authenticating genuine APC members.

 

 

 "This e-registration exercise is proof of your identity in the party, and it has a time limit which will elapse on January 31, 2026. I urge all of you not to allow this opportunity to pass you by," she said.

Aunty Zee further called on women to mobilise their families, friends and neighbours to participate, stressing that the political strength of any state is determined by the number of registered APC members.

"APC is now the ruling party in Taraba State. The governor is doing well and we must support him. I want Taraba State to lead while other states in the North-East follow," she added.

She also assured participants that dedication, transparency and loyalty to the party's ideals would attract timely rewards.

Earlier, the Supervisor of the APC E-Registration Exercise in Jalingo LGA, Abdullahi Mohammed, urged attendees to fully embrace the initiative, describing it as a step that would strengthen party membership and attract dividends of democracy.

Mohammed described the large turnout of women as clear evidence that the APC is gaining strength in Taraba State.

Several speakers at the event expressed support for the initiative, describing it as a collective endorsement of the party's leadership at both state and national levels.

Women leaders, ward representatives from the ten wards of Jalingo Local Government Area, and associates of Aunty Zee from Abuja were among those who attended the programme.
