GOV. AGBU KEFAS RECEIVES BLUEPRINT NEWSPAPER'S INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION AWARD IN ABUJA

The Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has received the Blueprint Newspaper’s Inclusive Development and Social Integration Award in recognition of his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, social development and equitable access to opportunities.

The award was presented on Tuesday at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Centre, Abuja, during a ceremony attended by prominent Nigerians, including the Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Dauda Lawal; former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul’aziz Yari; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi; and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, among other distinguished personalities who were also honoured at the occasion.

Governor Agbu Kefas was represented at the ceremony by the Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Hon. Zainab Usman Jalingo, ESQ.

Speaking on behalf of the Governor, the Commissioner expressed appreciation to the management of Blueprint Newspapers for recognising the Taraba State Governor with the prestigious award.

She described the honour as not only a recognition of Governor Kefas, but also an acknowledgement of the collective efforts of the people of Taraba State towards building a more inclusive, peaceful and united society.

According to her, the Kefas administration remains committed to expanding access to education, strengthening communities and ensuring that the benefits of development reach citizens across the state, irrespective of their background or location.

The Commissioner further stressed that democracy thrives in an atmosphere of peace, trust and respect for the will of the people, noting that Taraba State remains committed to upholding these values.

She said the recognition would further encourage the administration to sustain its efforts towards promoting inclusive governance, social integration and equitable development across the state.

The Blueprint Newspaper’s award adds to the growing recognition of the Agbu Kefas administration for its governance initiatives, social development programmes and people oriented policies.
