Sani Danladi Vows to Deliver Tinubu, Kefas In 2027

Former Acting Governor of Taraba State, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi (C2C), has vowed to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas in the 2027 general elections.

Senator Danladi made the pledge on his return to Taraba State following his appointment by President Tinubu as the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) in the state.

The former Deputy Governor received a rousing welcome from supporters, political associates, friends and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Danbaba Suntai Airport, Jalingo. He was thereafter led in a long motorcade through major streets of the metropolis to the C2C Event Centre, where a reception was held in his honour.

It was gathered that Senator Danladi currently also serves as a member of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

Speaking to journalists shortly after his arrival, Danladi expressed appreciation for the massive turnout, describing the reception as overwhelming and a clear demonstration of support from the people of the state.

He said his immediate priority was to mobilise support to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas in 2027.

According to him, Governor Kefas' alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government makes it imperative for all stakeholders to support his re-election.

"With the help of my Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and other critical stakeholders in the state, we are going to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas come 2027," Danladi said.

He assured that APC members, supporters and other stakeholders would rally together to achieve the mandate, adding that the challenges of insecurity, hunger and other socio-economic issues confronting Nigerians would soon give way to positive changes.

"In governance, you take things step by step. As we move into 2026, Nigerians will begin to see tremendous improvements across the country," he stated.

Also speaking, the Commissioner representing Taraba State at the Federal Character Commission, Comrade Bala Bobboi Kaigama, described Senator Danladi as a politician deeply rooted in the political landscape of the state and the country.

"If you think you can retire Sani Danladi from politics, you are making a grievous mistake. He eats politics, drinks politics and breathes politics," Kaigama said.

Kaigama, who is also a former National President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), said the gathering was to show solidarity with Senator Danladi and to appreciate President Tinubu for appointing him as the Renewed Hope Initiative Coordinator in Taraba State.

"He is our ambassador. We are here to give him the necessary support and cooperation to ensure that President Tinubu succeeds, not only in Taraba State but across Nigeria," he added.

He further stated that Senator Danladi's role as RHI Coordinator also places him in a strategic position to coordinate support for Governor Kefas, stressing that stakeholders are now targeting total victory for the governor in 2027.

Other APC chieftains who spoke at the event include former deputy governorship candidate in the 2023 election, Hon. Abdullahi Kirim; member of the Taraba State House of Assembly representing Karim II Constituency, Hon. Abner Shittu; Director-General of the Sani Danladi Campaign Organisation, Hon. Othman Nathaniel; and Hon. Nasiru Tafida, a close associate of Senator Danladi.

They all pledged solidarity with Senator Danladi and expressed support for his vision to secure electoral victory for President Tinubu and Governor Kefas in the 2027 general elections.
