Hon. Moses Maihankali Confirmed as ALGON Chairman in Taraba

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Taraba State Chapter, has confirmed the Chairman of Kurmi Local Government Area, Hon. Moses Maihankali, as its new State Chairman.

The confirmation followed a consensus among chairmen of the 16 local government councils in the state, who expressed confidence in Maihankali's leadership capacity and commitment to grassroots development.

Hon. Maihankali is widely regarded for his visionary leadership style, people-oriented policies, and dedication to community empowerment at the local government level. His emergence as ALGON chairman is seen as a reflection of the trust reposed in him by his colleagues to effectively represent and promote the collective interests of councils across Taraba State.

Speaking shortly after his confirmation, Maihankali thanked his peers for the confidence placed in him and pledged to provide inclusive and purposeful leadership. He assured that under his chairmanship, ALGON would continue to strengthen local governments as the foundation of democratic governance and sustainable development in the state.
