Reps Member, Jafaru Yakubu Commissions Projects In Garba-Chede, Bali


• Kickoff Construction of Roads In Bali

The Honourable Member representing Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Jafaru Yakubu, has launched a series of development projects in Bali town, including the construction of a 2km interlocking road and a new overhead water project. 

 

The event took place at the Lamdo Bakundi palace, with the Deputy Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hamma Adama Abdullahi, representing Governor AgbuKefas.

 

The newly commissioned interlocking road is expected to significantly improve transportation in the area, easing travel for residents and reducing potholes. In addition, a 5,000-liter overhead water project was inaugurated at the police divisional headquarters, further enhancing local infrastructure.

 

PDP State Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Bawa commended the residents of Bali/Gassol for electing a committed leader in Jafaru Yakubu, stating that they are among the luckiest constituents in Taraba. He encouraged the community to anticipate more dividends of democracy under Yakubu'sleadership.

 

The Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Hon. Emmanuel Bello, urged residents to continue supporting Jafaru Yakubu, emphasizing his dedication to their welfare.

 

In a related initiative, Hon. Jafaru Yakubu also flagged off a rural electrification project, which includes the extension of a 33KVA line from Sunkani to Garba-Chede

 

This project aims to connect Garba-Chede to the national grid, providing much-needed electricity to the community for the first time in over 30 years.

 

During the electrification event, Deputy Speaker Abdullahihighlighted the importance of electricity for economic growth and urged contractors to ensure comprehensive coverage across Garba-Chede.

 

Hon. Jafaru expressed his commitment to bringing further development to the area, encouraging residents to support his efforts. 

 

Hon. Jafaru Yakubu Chiroma emphasized the critical importance of electricity as a fundamental right and a driver of economic development, essential for powering homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. 

 

He further expressed confidence that the road construction and water provision would positively transform the lives of his constituents.

 

 

The events were attended by various dignitaries, including PDP officials and local leaders, who praised Jafaru Yakubu for his contributions to the constituency.

 

On his part Hon. Mustapha Musa expressed gratitude on behalf of Garba-Chede residents for the long-awaited access to electricity, underscoring its potential to enhance their quality of life and business opportunities.

Other  speakers at the event praised Hon. Chiroma's impactful initiatives, noting that these projects align with Governor AgbuKefas's Moving Taraba Forward agenda, which aims to bring democratic dividends directly to the people.
