Taraba Assembly Passes Business Registration Bill
The Taraba State House of Assembly has taken a significant step towards streamlining business operations in the state.
State Lawmakers unanimously approved a bill that will regulate business names, premises, and operations.
The bill seeking for a law to provide for the registration of Business names, Business Premises and for Persons Carrying on Businesses in Taraba state and other matters connected therewith.
This followed a motioned moved by the Chief Whip TafarkiAbgadu Eneme which paved way for the bill to be read for the third time at the flow of the House.
The deputy Speaker Hamman Adama Abdullahi who presided over the sitting read through the pages of bill and the members unanimously approved for its passage.
Following the approval by the House, the clerk Salmuna Amos Sani took the reading of the long title of the bill for the third time.
Hamman Adama Abdullahi directed the Clerk to prepare a clean copy of the bill for the Governor's ascent.
