Gov Kefas Ambitious To Transform Taraba- Sen Haruna Manu

 

Senator Manu Haruna, representing the Taraba Central Senatorial District, has praised Governor Agbu Kefas for his ambitious plan to transform Taraba State into an industrial hub in the northeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria. His comments came following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Taraba State government and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in Abuja.

 

Senator Manu commended the governor for his initiative, stating that it is a significant step toward advancing development in the state. "I commend our governor for this bold move towards making Taraba a major distributor of renewable energy, food, and industrial enhancement in our region, and by extension, the entire country," he said.

 

He emphasized that the three critical pillars outlined in the agreement—energy development, infrastructural enhancements, and initiatives for food and economic stability—are essential for the state's growth.

 

The former deputy governor expressed confidence in Governor Kefas's ability to revitalize the state swiftly, asserting, "There's no doubt in my mind that the governor has all it takes to turn around our dear state within a short period."

 

 

 

Senator Manu urged all stakeholders to vigorously pursue this commendable initiative and also praised CCECC for its impeccable track record in global engineering as a key partner in this endeavor.
