At Bethel Conference, Sen. Bwacha, DSK Call for reconciliation among politicians

 Senator representing Taraba South and Deputy Minority leader Emmanuel Bwacha and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC Chief David Sabo Kente where among politicians present at just concluded annual Bethel Conference of the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria CRC-N.


The duo who spoke on the unity of the state, commended the leadership of church for setting up peace reconciliation committee among the politicians in the state.


Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku who was represented by the chief of staff government house Jalingo, Istifanus Haruna Gbana called on the church to intensify prayers for the state and country to overcome the challenges of insecurity and banditry.


Governor  Ishaku said only prayers that can take the country out of the insecurity situation it is facing at the moment.


He encouraged believers at the gathering to submit themselves as vessels of honor unto God.


The Governor equally urged the gathering to use the message of the conference to do exploits in their endeavors.


In his sermon, CRN-N President Reverend Caleb Osheka Solomon Ahima said Christians are God covenant people through the blood of Jesus Christ who died for mankind.


Ahima  who double as Vice president of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, noted that the Israelites suffered in the land of their captivity for not honoring God despite their covenant with God.


Reverend Ahima maintained that any Christian who chooses to do wrong, would face the destructive judgment of God.


The CRC-N president encouraged Christians to pray for their leaders to succeed and not to condemn them stressing that Christianity representing the great things of God.


The state Commissioner of Justice Sam Ada and his Water Agency conterpart Yusuf Akirikwen Nya SAN the chairman of Takum Shiban Tikari and his counterpart Wukari Adi Daniel where among government functionaries who attended the conference.
