Am Not Part of Looting- Ishaya, Director of Works


 The Director of Works,  Taraba State Polytechnic Mr Samuel  Ramat Ishaya has exonerated himself from partaking in looting of the institution as uncovered in report of the Visitation Panel to the Polytechnic set up recently by the Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku.

 

According to the report published by the Taraba Truth and Facts Newspaper,  it indicted the Ex Rector of the Institution Mr. Daniel D  Mom and Ex Bursar Hon David Fouh. The report also added that among the Staff of the Polytechnic also indicted was the Director of Works  Mr Samuel  Ramat Ishaya.

 

In his swift reactions to the report,  Mr Samuel  Ramat Ishaya emphatically said he was never a signatory to any of the accounts of the Polytechnic and wondered why the committee includes his name to the indicted officers.

 

On the misappropriation of TETFUND Academic Staff Training and Development approvals, the Director of Works denied such knowledge and said under his watch he ensured that all approval letters were treated and referred to the appropriate channels as he was never engaged in disbursement of Funds. 

 

On some Companies mentioned in the report to have executed various projects, where the Reports said the school management awarded a contract for the printing of security and non security documents to Printing Trend International and Jossy Vakude Global Concept at various sums. The Director of Works renounced knowledge of the existing of such Firms as they were not engaged by his office.

 

He reiterated his commitment to the service of the institution and loyalty to Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku rescue mission.
