7 things DDI failed to do in Southern zone

JDAN express anger, disappointment ‎

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku is battling support is battling his home front of Southern Taraba for maximum support in his quest to return for second term.

‎The leadership of the Jukun Development Association of Nigeria (JDAN) following an instruction from General TY Danjuma has endorsed Governor Ishaku for a second term but many people from the zone are insisting that DDI is gross incompetent, brought disgrace to Southern Taraba‎ and does not deserve a second term.‎

JDAN National President Chief Benjamin Bako however said " the interest and security of people " and that Governor Darius was "one of our own" hence the Association has no choice but to support his re-election bid to the government house Jalingo.

But Governor Ishaku is been accused of abandoning the Southern zone in the last four years, even JDAN also admitted that DDI have not been a blessing to Jukun Land.

JDAN President noted that the Governor is extremely arrogant and stingy. "He's drunk easily with power. These are not attributes of a politician."

Ishaku is being blamed for neglecting his home front and failing to address critical issues in the region.

They blamed Ishaku's for failing to address the 23 year old crisis on the vacant stool of Takum Ukwe.

Also DDI neglected the 22 year old Yangtu Boundary crisis, "no action was taken by DDI to resolve the conflict and give the people a sense of belonging in Nigeria political structure,"

Also major roads in the Southern Taraba which the governor promised to neither complete or construct where neglected in the last four years.

DDI promised to complete the Wukari -Takum Road; Tsekondi road; Donga-Marraba Road during his 2015 campaign but did not attend to any of the roads in the last four years.

He also listed the Ussa -Takum Road, could not be attended to as promised

One other project DDI also failed to follow-up is the Lissam General Hospital under construction by the late Governor Danbaba.

The Governor could not also point at any project his administration carried out in Ussa, Ibi and Donga Local governments in the last four years.

Security has never been worse in the Southern Zone like under DDI, a member of the state House of Assembly was kidnapped and killed in the zone last year.

Bako Ben was almost kidnapped on 8th of July 2018 along Donga road on our way to see the GARA .

Security now a serious concern due to high poverty, hunger and unemployment in Jukun land, Ishaku was unable to tackle kidnapping in the Southern Zone

President Coalition of Concerned Tarabans Comrade Musa Ishaku said as a very proud jukun Man, i have not endorsed DDI for a second term.
