Professor Jerome Nyameh Appoints Uba Sani Abdullahi Campaign DG

The Accord Party governorship candidate for the 2027 Taraba State Governorship Election, Professor Jerome Nyameh, popularly known as “The People’s Professor,” has appointed Alhaji Uba Sani Abdullahi as Director-General of his Campaign Council.

The appointment, according to the campaign council, is part of Nyameh’s effort to build a campaign structure anchored on experience, competence, grassroots mobilisation and strategic leadership.

The appointment was announced by the Director of Media, Communication and Re-orientation of the Taraba’s Therapy Campaign Council, Mallam Lawal Sani Kona.

Abdullahi, who hails from the Central Zone of Taraba State, is a politician and public servant with experience spanning government, local administration, labour union affairs and political organisation.

He has served as Special Adviser to the Chairman of Gassol Local Government Council and Special Adviser to the then Acting Governor of Taraba State, Sani Abubakar Danladi.

He also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Legislative Aide to Senator Yusuf A. Yusuf, who represents Taraba Central, and Deputy State Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Taraba State.

Abdullahi was also Special Adviser on Rural Development to Senator Yusuf A. Yusuf.

The campaign council said his experience in politics, governance, grassroots mobilisation, local government administration and public service would be valuable in coordinating Nyameh’s campaign ahead of the 2027 election.
