Taraba PDP Scribe Resigns, Accepts SA Appointment Under Gov. Kefas

The State Assistant Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. James Chimin,  has resigned his position and has accepted an appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov. Agbu Kefas of Taraba State.

Hon. James Chimin who spoke to newsmen in Jalingo on Saturday expressed his determination to support the APC in developing Taraba State.

Chimin, while officially announcing his resignation as State Assistant Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, promised to work for the success of President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Agbu Kefas, Sen. David Jimkuta, Hon. Mark Useni and Hon. Dinlomiya Bolbonga come 2027 general election. 

He also pladged loyalty and total support for the reelection of Gov. Agbu Kefas come 2027 Governorship Election.

He called on the Tiv community in Donga in particular and Southern Taraba in general to support Gov. Agbu Kefas and the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2027.

"Our people are indeed happy and grateful to His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State who has demonstrated an uncommon love for Tiv people by considering them for appointments into his administration.

" On my part, I have accepted to work with him and for the APC. I in particular have today leave the PDP and join the APC to support the vision of Gov. Agbu Kefas

" I therefore, pledge my unalloyed loyalty to Gov Agbu Kefas and the APC.

"I am calling on the Tiv people in the state to support Gov Kefas to succeed,"he added

Also speaking to newsmen, Hon. Usman Shaakaa, one of the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants (SSA) commended Gov Kefas for finding him worthy to be appointed in such capacity.

Shaakaa promised to work for the party to ensure APC wins all it's positions in the coming elections.

He enjoined all Tiv people in the state to support the governor before, during and after the general election.
