Taraba APC Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has congratulated Muslims across the state and Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Aaron Artimas, the State Chairman of the party, AlhajiAbubakar Bawa, alongside members of the State Working Committee and the entire party structure, extended warm Sallahgreetings to the Muslim Ummah.

The party also conveyed special greetings to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, his deputy, Alhaji AminuAbdullahi, members of the National Assembly, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Kizito Bonzena, members of the State Assembly, the State Executive Council, the Secretary to the State Government, the Head of Service, party executives and members, as well as all residents of the state.

According to the statement, Eid-el-Fitr is not only a period of celebration but also a time for reflection on the virtues of patience, sacrifice, self-discipline and compassion, which were observed during the holy month of Ramadan.

The party urged citizens to sustain these values in their daily lives in order to promote peace, unity and development across the state.

It further called on residents to uphold the principles of love, tolerance and mutual respect, stressing that the festive period should serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility to strengthen community bonds and contribute to societal progress.

The APC also encouraged Muslims to extend acts of generosity to the less privileged, ensuring that the joy of the celebration is shared widely.

"As we celebrate, we urge continued prayers for peace, security and good governance in our dear state," the statement added.

The party prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasts, prayers and acts of charity of the faithful, forgives their shortcomings and blesses Taraba State with lasting peace, unity and progress.

"May God grant our leaders the wisdom and strength to lead with justice and fairness, and may we witness many more years in good health and prosperity," the statement said.

The party concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid Mubarak celebration.
