Bali LG Boss Flags Off Construction of 2km Township Road in Garba-Chede

The Chairman of Bali Local Government Area, Honourable Habila Bala Balasa, has officially flagged off the construction of a 2-kilometre township road in Garba-Chede town along the Bali–Mutum Biyu bypass in Taraba State.

The project, approved by Hon. Habila, aims to rehabilitate a road that was initially constructed in the 1970s but later abandoned, bringing relief to commuters and improving accessibility for residents. Upon completion, the road is expected to stimulate economic growth, attract development, and create opportunities for the local youth.

The historic flag-off ceremony attracted top local government officials, including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Sa'ad, councillors, the District Head of Garba-Chede, the DPO of Garba-Chede Division, religious leaders, community stakeholders, party loyalists, and support groups.

During the event, Hon. Habila reaffirmed his commitment to delivering projects in line with the "Moving Forward" agenda of the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, emphasizing his dedication to grassroots development.

Residents of Garba-Chede expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Habila and extended appreciation to Governor Kefas for providing the platform for local leadership to serve the community effectively.

The 2km township road project marks a significant step in restoring essential infrastructure in Garba-Chede and is expected to enhance transportation, commerce, and socio-economic activities within Bali Local Government Area.
