Tiv Community in Bali Commends Governor Kefas for Historic Recognition

Bali, Taraba State – The Tiv community in Bali Local Government Area has commended Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for his inclusive leadership and commitment to fostering unity among Taraba's diverse ethnic groups.

During the governor's recent tour of the region, the Tiv people warmly received him and expressed deep appreciation for what they described as a historic milestone — the appointment of their son, Hon. James Philip, as Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Affairs.

The community noted that this marks the first time since the advent of democracy in Taraba State that a Tiv indigene from Bali has been given such a prominent role in the state executive council. They described the appointment as a source of pride and renewed hope, saying it reflects fairness and equity in Governor Kefas' administration.

In a show of solidarity, the Tiv community pledged unwavering support to the governor and his government. They vowed to stand firmly with his administration and promised to mobilize massive support ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing his inclusive governance and visionary leadership as reasons for their loyalty.
