AMPAT Inaugurates Sardauna Local Government Executives in Gembu

The Association of Mobile Phones and Allied Products Traders of Nigeria (AMPAT), Taraba State Chapter, has inaugurated the executives of its Sardauna Local Government Branch. 

The ceremony took place in Gembu, the headquarters of Sardauna LGA.

The event, presided over by the State Chairman of AMPAT, Mr. Nurudeen Mohammed Manzo, was attended by the State Taskforce Officer, Umar Ahmed, and representatives of key security agencies, including the Nigerian Police Force (Area Command, SIB, and Sardauna Division), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Vigilante Group. Their presence underscored the Association's commitment to fostering a safe and enabling environment for business activities.

In his keynote address, Mr. Manzo unveiled two major opportunities for AMPAT members: Access to Non-Interest Loan Facility through a partnership with Zudal Microfinance Bank and the NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs platform and Strengthened Internal Revenue Drive via the introduction of a mandatory Promotional Membership Sticker for all registered members.

He further announced new guidelines aimed at easing business operations, especially in the trading of fairly used phones and services such as flashing and unlocking. The guidelines are set to take effect from October 1, 2025.

The newly inaugurated branch executives were officially presented with Executive Certificates and Identification Cards, empowering them to steer the Association's affairs in SardaunaLGA in line with AMPAT's vision of promoting innovation, discipline, and growth in the mobile phone and allied products sector.

The occasion was described as a milestone in strengthening AMPAT's grassroots presence across Taraba State, signaling a renewed drive for unity and economic advancement among traders.
