Isa Tafida Plans To Build Massive Industrial Centre In Iware

 

 

In a bold move to boost economic growth and improve infrastructure in Taraba State, a prominent industrialist and Prince of Muri, Alhaji Isa Tafida Mafindi has commenced the construction of a multi-purpose general industrial centre in the Iware area of Ardo Kola Local Government Area. 

 

The project comprises a sack and cow market, a one thousand unit housing estate, and a trailer park.

 

Speaking during the official launching of the project, the assistant to Alhaji Isa Tafida Mafindi, Mr Umar Ismaila Mohammed, disclosed that the project is designed to transform the area into a major commercial hub in the state.

 

He stated that the project is singlehandedly handled by the philanthropist to also ease economic activities in the area.

 

According to him, the project in collaboration with the Taraba State Government will encourage marketers from purchasing the state made Sacks, to be used by the marketers, thereby increasing the revenue generation of the state.

 

Also speaking at the event, the Hakimin Iware Alhaji Ibrahim Jalo Ardo Manga, described the gesture by the philanthropist as an Initiative worthy of commendation.

 

The leader also said that the Market, which consists of modern infrastructure will go a long way in marketing the farming community and enhance development in Iware and also provide job opportunities for youths across the state.

 

He called on the Taraba State Government to support such initiatives from private individuals, aiming to bring development to the state.

 

Another leader in the area Mohammed Aliyu Savannah also commended the efforts of Alhaji Isa Tafida Mafindi, noting that the people are in support of the initiative that will bring development and increase economic growth of the state.
