Unlawful Remand: Oloye Ayodele Samuel Appreciates Tarabans Overwhelmed With Massive Solidarity, Support




The publisher of Taraba Truth and Facts and Chief Executive Officer of Rock FM 92.3 Jalingo Oloye Ayodele Samuel has expressed his appreciation to Tarabans and the general public for their love and support while he was unlawfully incarcerated.

 

"I want to sincerely appreciate all Tarabans — the good people of Taraba State and the entire country in general but most especially Tarabans.

 

"Our wonderful listeners on Rock FM 92.3 Jalingo, our readers of Taraba Truth and Facts newspaper, my colleague in the media, media owners across the country, eminent Nigerians, top clerics in the state and everyone who reached out or condemned my illegal incarceration at the prison for more than two weeks, last year.

 

"I want to thank everybody; I pray that the almighty God would bless you all. I am short of words and overwhelmed by the show of love and concern.

 

"The two weeks was really challenging for me but the experience and lessons would live with me forever. I want to assured that I  remains resolute and courageous in carrying out my duties as a journalist  objectively for the furtherance of the state and the nation at large.

 

"I also thanked everyone who sympathized, advocated or contributed in one way or the other to my release; colleagues, senior journalists and right groups, international media and organizations  that spoke against my arrest.

 

Ayodele regained his Freedom on Monday, December 12, following a judgment at a Federal High Court (FHC) sitting in Jalingo, Taraba Sate.
