Gov Ishaku's Campaign Staff Protests Two Years Unpaid Salaries

Taraba Truth and Facts Newspaper gathered that angry staff in their hundred marched from the Rescue House to the personal residence of the Governor with placards describing their grievances.  

 

Some of the protesters, who spoke on anonymity to reporters at the venue of the protests, decried the extensiveness of the salary delay, noting that they have been patient enough with the governor.

 

The protesters affirmed that despite their Director General was not in support of their actions, his plea for them to resolve amicably with the governor became unacceptable after a long wait.

 

Leader of protester and cashier at the Rescue House, Mr Iliya Boniface Bongos, confirmed to reporters that all relevant security agencies have been promptly notified about the protests, the commissioner of police and the state director of the DSS.

 

Responding to them, after presenting their demands, the ADC to governor Darius Dickson Ishaku CSP George Ibrahim, who was at hand to address them assured the protesters that everything will be resolved as soon as possible, as the D.G and the Chief of Staff have already been summoned to the governor's house.
