Ramadan: Prof. Sani Yahaya urges Muslims to show more love

Professor Muhammad Sani Yahaya has urged Muslim faithful to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan and continue to show love and promote peaceful co-existence in state during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In a statement to commemorate the 2019 Ramadan season, Professor Sani Yahaya,  a leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Taraba State in the last election, said the Holy month should be seen as an opportunity to learn self-restraint, love, piety, and sacrifice.
He described Ramadan as a period for prayer, thanksgiving, forgiveness, spiritual training and self-examination as well as to avoid things that are forbidden in Islam.
“The responsibilities of being a Muslim include that we must love ourselves and always work to promote its success.
“The 2019 Ramadan period is one that we must see as an opportunity to pray for our country, President Muhammadu Buhari, our State and promote peaceful co-existence among ourselves, we should be our brothers keeper irrespective of religion.”
