Leah Olusiyi Solomon Denies Taking Money to Withdraw Court Case
Former APC aspirant for Jalingo, Yorro and Zing Federal Constituency, Hon. Leah Olusiyi Solomon, has dismissed allegations that she collected money before withdrawing her suit challenging the APC primary election that produced Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida as the party’s flagbearer.
Hon. Leah said her decision to withdraw the case before the Federal High Court, Jalingo, was voluntary and motivated by her commitment to party unity, reconciliation and the collective interest of the APC.
She explained that the decision followed consultations with party leaders and relevant stakeholders, stressing that reconciliation and unity within the party remain important to her.
She further reaffirmed her loyalty to the APC and expressed her readiness to continue supporting the party’s leadership and its efforts to reconcile aggrieved members.
Addressing the allegation of financial inducement, Hon. Leah said “If there is ANYONE who has given me money, either before or after my voluntary withdrawal of the suit, let him or her disgrace me before the whole world. I am ever ready to respond with evidence.”»
She urged her supporters and the general public to disregard what she described as baseless allegations and called on APC members to embrace peace, mutual understanding, discipline and cooperation.
Hon. Leah reiterated her commitment to working with party leaders and stakeholders towards building a united, peaceful and progressive APC in Taraba State.
