Recruitment: Civil Service Commission Extends Online Deadline To July 17, Ends Physical Form Sales

The Taraba State Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the suspension of the sale of physical application forms for its ongoing recruitment exercise, directing prospective applicants to continue with the online application process.

In a statement dated July 13, 2026, and signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Ndokari Wunuji, on behalf of the Chairman, the Commission said the sale of physical forms officially closed on Monday, July 13, 2026.

The Commission, however, instructed applicants who had already paid for the physical forms to visit its office with their bank tellers to collect the forms.

It further clarified that the online application portal remains open until Friday, July 17, 2026.

The Commission also advised applicants experiencing challenges after making online payments to forward their payment receipts, alongside details of their complaints, to the official email address provided on its website for prompt resolution.

While urging strict compliance with the approved application procedures, the Commission cautioned applicants against relying on unofficial information concerning the recruitment exercise.

Above Masthead: Kwararafa University Wins North East Regional Academic Quiz Competition

The Kwararafa University Wukari in Taraba has won the North East Regional Quiz competition in  Chartered Institute for Personel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN)

Dr Oluwatoyin Naiwo, Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the CIPMN on Tuesday in  a mail said that only first position from each of the six geopolitical regions would be eligible to participate at the National Quiz Competition.

Naiwo said that five universities were nominated each from the six geopolitical zone in Nigeria for the rich academic quiz competition.

He listed the participating universities in the North East to includes: Federal University Wukari, Kwararafa University Wukari, Modibbo Adams University Yola, University of Maiduguri and Yobe State University

Dr Terzungwe Kokoh, Deputy Dean, School of Management and Social Sciences of the Kwararafa University Wukari expressed satisfaction with the victory of the university.

Kokoh also expressing more confidence in the ability of it participants to emerge victorious in the coming national competition slated for Sept 2026.
He said that the university was already preparing it participants on the area of ICT for the national competition.

The university don said that Kwararafa university won with 20 points to beat it closest rival University of Maiduguri who came second with 15 points.

He thanked the university management for finding him worthy and capable to take the participating students through the process.
