Gov. Agbu Kefas Hints at Cabinet Shake-Up, Urges Commissioners to Perform
The Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas has urged commissioners and all appointees in the state, to maximize their time in office, warning that a new phase of governance is approaching.
The Governor have the call, during the swearing in of two new Commissioners at the Exco Chamber of the T.Y. Danjuma House in Jalingo.
Governor Agbu Kefas reiterated that his administration is focused towards the betterment of the people, describing the appointments of commissioners in the state as an opportunity to contribute to the development of the state, noting that there will be a shake up of appointments within the state executive council.
"And for other Commissioners, that have been there before, you know we are entering into another season, some might come back and some might not come back, it is also possible that all of you might not come back".
He called on the Commissioners to use the remaining short time the have to contribute positively for the betterment of the people.
"For the remaining short time you have, make the best use of it to change the narratives".
The governor further hints on his reelection strategy, noting that the people of Taraba State, will decide the future of his political ambitions.
"It is just like I am here, I believe God that the first time he has given to me, I have done my best,". "If Taraba citizens, will decide again, just like they are deciding, that I am.coming back for second term, I will do better than the first time".
"I know things are difficult, but in difficulties, we will make life easier for our citizens"."So it is a sacrifice, the governor said during the event.
