A former member representing Gembu constituency Hon. Dr. Ahmad D. Jedua has resigned from his position as Special Adviser on Health Services to the Governor of Taraba State.

Jedua tendered his resignation on Friday, February 27, 2026, stepping down from his role in the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas.

His decision, according to sources close to him, is to enable him fully prepare to contest for the seat of Member, Taraba State House of Assembly, representing Gembu Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
