A former member representing Gembu constituency Hon. Dr. Ahmad D. Jedua has resigned from his position as Special Adviser on Health Services to the Governor of Taraba State.

Jedua tendered his resignation on Friday, February 27, 2026, stepping down from his role in the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas.

Yahaya tendered his resignation on Saturday, February 28, 2026, stepping down from his role in the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas.

According to sources close to the former aide, the resignation is to enable him fully prepare for his political journey ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Yahaya is expected to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives, representing the Donga, Takum, Ussa and Yangtu Special Development Area federal constituency.
