Gov Kefas Swears In Peter Shenwun as Special Adviser on Revenue Diversification
Hon. (Amb.) Peter Stephen Shenwun has been sworn in as Special Adviser to the Governor on Revenue Base Diversification.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Executive Council Chamber in Jalingo on February 25, 2026, with the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, presiding over the event.
The occasion was attended by top government officials, political associates and well-wishers who gathered to witness the formal inauguration.
Amb. Shenwun, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Ussa Local Government Area, is widely regarded by his constituents as a steadfast leader who stood firmly with his people during periods of crisis and played a key role in peace-building efforts in the area.
In his remarks shortly after taking the oath of office, the new Special Adviser pledged unwavering loyalty and commitment to the administration of Governor Kefas. He assured the governor of his readiness to deploy his experience in strengthening revenue generation and diversifying the state's economic base.
Shenwun expressed appreciation to Governor Kefasfor what he described as another opportunity to serve the state and contribute meaningfully to its development.
He also called on his supporters at the grassroots to rally behind the governor and support the administration's development agenda aimed at moving the state forward.
