Taraba IPAC Urges Voters to Participate in Forthcoming LG Polls, Commends TSIEC’s Transparency The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Taraba State Chapter, has called on all eligible voters in the state to come out en masse and exercise their civic responsibility in the forthcoming Local Government Council election. Speaking to journalists in Jalingo, the Chairman of IPAC, Hon. Tafarki Auta, commended the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC) for what he described as its transparency and commitment in handling the electoral process. Auta emphasized that for the elections to be credible, free, and fair, all political parties must strictly adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the electoral body. He urged politicians to conduct themselves peacefully and place the collective interest of the state above personal or party ambitions. The Council also lauded Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for his developmental strides across the state, describing his leadership as impactfu.

Meanwhile, the State Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Apollos Jediel, raised concerns over the alleged exclusion of his party from participating in the local government elections.

Jediel expressed the APC's displeasure with the actions of the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission, describing the situation as worrisome and calling for urgent intervention to ensure fairness and inclusivity in the electoral process.
