Former Lawmaker Rima Shawulu Resigns From NNPP A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rimamnde Shawulu Kwewum, has resigned his membership of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP). In a letter dated December 28, 2024, and addressed to the party leadership at the ward and local government levels, Shawulu formally announced his decision to leave the party. “I write to inform you about my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party effective from December 28, 2024,” the letter read in part. The former lawmaker, who represented Takum/Donga/Ussa Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, expressed appreciation to party members and officials for their support during his time in the NNPP. “I would like to thank you and all other party members and officials within the ward and the Local Government for the massive support you gave me while I was in the party and to wish you and all other party members my best wishes for your future endeavours,” h
