Gov Kefas Commissions State-of-the-Art Dental Unit at Specialist Hospital, Jalingo

 Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has inaugurated a modern dental unit at the State  Specialist Hospital, Jalingo, in what marks another significant stride in his administration's ongoing healthcare reforms.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Kefas described the facility as part of a comprehensive reform agenda for the health sector, assuring that this was only the beginning.

He pledged that, department by department, the state's healthcare system would be transformed with cutting-edge facilities, highly trained doctors, and skilled health workers to deliver world-class services to the people of Taraba.

Earlier in his remarks, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Bordiya Buma, lauded the governor's unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across the state.

He cited other notable milestones, including the renovation of general hospitals, the remodeling of primary healthcare centres, the recruitment of additional health workers, and now, the commissioning of a world-class dental unit.

The Chief Medical Director of Specialist Hospital Jalingo, Dr. Alex Maiangwa, led Governor Kefas and his entourage on a tour of the new facility, showcasing its advanced equipment and patient-friendly environment designed to ensure quality oral healthcare for all.
