Taraba State Awards Bursaries to 150 Law School Students
As part of its constant commitment to supporting the academic advancement of its indigenes, the Taraba State Government has approved the disbursement of bursaries to 150 law students currently enrolled at the Nigerian Law School.
Each beneficiary is set to receive the sum of ₦400,000, with all payments expected to be completed by Monday, July 21, 2025. This intervention aligns with the state government's broader agenda of investing in education, empowering emerging professionals, and building a robust foundation for human capital development across Taraba.
The bursary is designed to ease the financial burden on the students, allowing them to concentrate fully on their legal training without economic distractions. It also underscores the government's continued drive to promote excellence in legal education and ensure that Taraba is proudly represented in the legal profession at the national stage.
This laudable initiative has drawn commendation from education and legal sector stakeholders, who have hailed it as a timely and impactful investment in the intellectual future of the state.
