Hon. Mubarak Gambo Hosts APC Ward Excos, Distributes Cash Gifts at Sallah Dinner in Bali



 A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. AbdulSalami Gambo Mubarak, has extended a hand of generosity to party loyalists and All Progressives Congress (APC) ward executives across five local government areas in Taraba Central Zone during a well-attended Sallah dinner at his residence in Bali.

The event, held to mark the successful completion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, attracted thousands from Bali, Gassol, Gashaka, Kurmi, and Sardauna local government areas. During the gathering, Hon. Mubarak distributed cash support to party stakeholders as part of efforts to cushion the effects of the current economic situation.

In his address, the former lawmaker urged the people of Taraba Central to continue living in peace and harmony, emphasizing that development cannot thrive without unity.

"As the rainy season begins, I encourage peaceful coexistence between farmers and herders to ensure a bountiful harvest," he said. "This gathering is a way to share in the joy of the season and to support those feeling the pinch of the economy."

Hon. Mubarak also called on wealthy individuals in the zone to cultivate the habit of supporting the less privileged, stressing that community development is a shared responsibility.

The event featured goodwill messages from prominent political figures and stakeholders. Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Hammanjulde Garba Chede, commended Mubarak's selflessness and called on politicians in the state to close ranks for the advancement of the zone.

Senator Ibrahim Goje Gassol, in his remarks, described Mubarak as a man of the people, praising his consistent humanitarian efforts and calling for sustained peace in the region.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the APC in Taraba State, Hon. Fidelis Francis, applauded Hon. Mubarak's dedication to the party and urged residents of the zone to remain steadfast in their commitment to democracy.

Alhaji Abubakar Makzi, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Bali Branch, lauded the former lawmaker for uniting the people through such gatherings. Similarly, Alhaji Haruna Shagari, Sarkin Fulani of the area, pledged peaceful coexistence with farmers during the farming season.

APC State Woman Leader, Hannatu Ali, described Mubarak as a "bulldozer" in grassroots politics, known for carrying everyone along. She called on other leaders to emulate his commitment to the welfare of the people.

At the event many  attendees while expressing appreciation for the lawmaker's continued support and leadership urged him to contest for Senator to represent  Taraba Central Senatorial District in the next election.
