Dr. Saleem Goje Dan Mama Launches Empowerment Program For Youths Across Taraba

The Chief Executive Officer of Dan Mama SmartHomes Limited, Dr. Saleem Iliyasu Goje, has launched a two-day screening exercise in Jalingo as part of preparations for the upcoming Dan Mama Empowerment Program aimed at equipping Taraba youth with practical skills and opportunities.

The Dan Mama Empowerment Program is expected to provide training and support in entrepreneurship, vocational skills, and personal development, contributing to broader efforts to reduce unemployment and promote self-sufficiency among Taraba's youth.

Speaking at the event, the Taraba State Director of the program, Mr. Muttaka Muhammed Bakundi, explained that the screening is designed to identify eligible and deserving indigenous youths from across the state who will benefit from the initiative.

According to Bakundi, ten participants will be selected from each of the sixteen local government areas of Taraba State. The successful candidates will then proceed to Abuja for a specialized training program.

The Jalingo Coordinator, Mr. Aliyu Ibrahim, expressed appreciation for the large turnout of participants and assured them of a fair and transparent selection process. He also called on political leaders and members of the business community to emulate Dr. Goje's commitment to youth development.

Also addressing participants, the Assistant Coordinator for Ussa Local Government, Pastor Paul Remansikwe, confirmed that the selection process was conducted across various wards. He commended Dr. Goje for initiating the program, noting that such efforts are crucial in addressing youth unemployment in the state.

Some of the participants who spoke to reporters, including Zaidu Haruna Waziri from Bali and Sa'adatu Muhammed from Zing, expressed gratitude for the opportunity. They said the empowerment program would help them acquire valuable skills and become more self-reliant.
