Mike Dio Takes Over As Tertiary Education Commissioner
The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has officially swore in a former Member of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Dr Mike Dio Jen as the Commissioner for Tertiary Educational Institutions in the state.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the TY Danjuma House, Jalingo.
While congratulating Mike Dio Jen on his appointment, Governor Kefas emphasized that leadership is a responsibility founded on trust. He expressed full confidence in the new commissioner's ability to deliver on his duties, stating, "I have no doubt that Mike Dio will perform excellently in his new position."
In his acceptance speech, Commissioner Mike Dio Jen expressed profound gratitude to Governor Kefas for finding him worthy of the appointment, noting that the governor has "written his name in gold." He described his appointment as a divine call to serve and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Mike Dio acknowledged the Governor's passion for education and pledged to work tirelessly to contribute to its development.
"Education should not be left to the government alone; it is a collective responsibility," he stated, assuring the Governor of his full commitment to transforming the sector.
