Karim Lamido Crisis: Former Special Duties Adviser, Bayero Lawan Condoles With Victims
The Chief Executive officer of the Owojori Network Consults Limited and founder of Oswald Engineering Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Bayero Lawan has condoled with the people of Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State over the losses of lives and property worth millions of Naira as a result of farmers herders crisis in Munga Lelau and Munga Dosso villages as well as other affected areas.
Alhaji Bayero Lawan who was a special adviser on special duties to former acting governor Garba Umar UTC in a condolence message said: "these are indeed terrible,barbaric and a horrific acts that must not be tolerated and calls for condemnation by all and sundry.
"The killing of this nature must not be allowed to continue amongst all the Ethnic groups of the area as peace and peaceful coexistence cannot be compered to anything on earth".
Alhaji Bayero Lawan who is also the Convener of National Dialogue, regretted that Karim Lamido Local Government Area which used to be the home of peace, Home of abundant Natural resources and wealth for all is gradually becoming a battle ground as a result of intolerance among the cohabitating ethnic groups on any slightest provocation which must not be allowed to continue at all costs.
"The very Karim lamido that I leaved during my youthful days with highly learned and exposed individuals, and personalities, and professionals across all sectors of the economy must all put hands on deck to move the Local Government forward and not the other way around".
He therefore condemned in totality any act of violence that is distracting the peaceful atmosphere in the area, calling on the security agencies and Government at all levels to step up security measures that will bring an end to the wanton destruction of lives and property in Karim Lamido and all other areas of the state and the country at large.
"As we condole with the family of those that lost their loved ones, we are also calling on them to be clam and allow the law to take its cause and also bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book to serve as a deterrent to others.
"May God Almighty rest the souls of those that loss their lives Amen".
