Promo Private School Owners Honor Sadiq Abbas Tafida For Outstanding Contributions To Education
The Member Representing Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency Hon Sadiq Abbas Tafida has received an award of Excellence for his outstanding contributions to education from the Association of Private School Owners in Taraba State.
The recognition followed the Lawmaker's gesture towards the payments of School fees, JAMB fees and construction of blocks of Classrooms in three schools across Jalingo Yorro And Zing Federal Constituency among others.
Hon. Tafida recently provided scholarships to over 100 students in tertiary educational institutions across Nigeria and has handed over a block of two classrooms in a government-owned school in Barade Ward and initiated construction works at a government-owned school in Sabon Gari.
The federal lawmaker has also completed construction of two blocks of four classrooms each were completed in Yorro and has sponsored over 300 students to participate in the JAMB examinations.

The chairman of the Association, Comrade Istifanus Acher described Honourable Sadiq Abbas Tafida as a unique figure in driven the grassroots education system of the state.
He praised Hon Sadiq Abbas Tafida for his special dedication to education since elected into the National Assembly.
He also noted that the Association has keyed in to the Taraba State Government initiative of providing quality and affordable education to the people of the state.
He commended the Governor Agbu Kefas administration over its commitment in the education sector, according to him the governor's gesture towards education is to be emulated by all lovers of education across the country.
Represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Engr. Yusuf Iliya, Hon. Tafida expressed gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of Taraba State.
He described the Association of Private School Owners as a worthy body and ally that has done exceptionally well in molding the future of the state's wards.
Hon. Tafida further called on parents and community leaders to monitor their wards and ensure they attend school during knowledge-imparting hours, noting that Governor Agbu Kefas' free education policy is in full swing across the state.
