Fed Poly Bali Appoints Umar Baba, As Acting Registrar
A Deputy Registrar at the Federal Polytechnic, Bali in Taraba State, Mallam Umar Baba has been appointed as the Acting Registrar of the Institution.
His appointment which will take effect from the 15th of December 2024 was approved by the Governing Council of the Institution at its recent meeting.
Umar Ibrahim Baba, until his appointment was the most senior Deputy Registrar in charge of information and Protocol Unit of the institution.
The incumbent Registrar, Sirajo Isa El Yakub will be completing his tenure on the 14th December, 2024, having served for a single tenure of 5 years.
The Council Chairman, Dr. Jibrin Saba Kolo made the pronouncement after exhaustive deliberations on the need to have a successor immediately the tenure of the current Registrar expires on the 14th December, 2024.
In the meantime, the Chairman has disclosed that interview processes to fill in the offices of three Principal Officers of the institution will soon be conducted as the positions have already been advertised.
He said very soon successful shortlisted applicants will be invited for the interview.
