How Mark Sagaraga Was Allegedly Stabbed To Death

  

 

Some hoodlums suspected to be phone snatchers have stabbed to death a 200 level student of Federal University Wukari, Mark Shagri in Wukari local government of Taraba state.

 

A source who confirmed to our correspondent said the incident occurred on Thursday night, when the victim was attacked on his way home after night class reading.

 

Our correspondent gathered that the deceased Mark Sagarga Nuvalga Gargae a 200 Level student of the Biological Science Department of Federal University Wukari, and the son of the head pastor of CRCN center church in Jalingo.

 

The source who pleaded anonymity, is also a student in the university, she narrated that "I know Mark very well, I saw him in the class when he was reading, but I left the night class before him. It was this morning that the news broke out that some boys tried to snatch his phone, he was struggling with them then they stabbed him ".

 

Another source who also confirmed the incident to our correspondent says the deceased who stays off-campus in a lodge not too far from the institution went to see some of his friends at a close estate at the late hours of Thursday was attacked by hoodlums not too far from the gate of his lodge while returning in the early hours of Friday.

 

"After going out with his friends, he decided to come back but his friends persuaded him against it and asked him to sleep over but he declined".

"So on his way back he was attacked by phone snatchers and they killed him and took his phone".

 

She added that during the ensuing fight, one of the hoodlums instantly stabbed late Mark on the stomach, a situation that prompted students around to scamper for safety, leaving the deceased in the pool of his blood.
