Expulsion From APC: Party Leaders, Stakeholders Back DSK, Jimkuta
Prominent leaders and stakeholders in Taraba State All Progressives Congress, APC have queued behind Chief David Sabo Kente and the Taraba south senator elect, Honourable David Jimkuta urging them to ignore the purported expulsion by the Barrister Ibrahim El-Sudi led faction of the party.
The party chieftains describe the action of Barrister El-Sudi faction of the APC as a sad development and act of desperation from a man who is trying to retain relevance in the system after plunging the party to a colossal loss in the last elections.
Speaking on behalf of prominent APC chieftains in Taraba State, Honourable James Amadu describe Chief Kente and Jimkuta as loyal and hardworking members of the party who presented a brilliant outing at the last elections, thereby defeating an incumbent Governor in a senatorial race and winning the highest votes for APC both at the state and National levels.
The APC in Taraba State under the leadership of Honourable Amadu has called on the security agencies in the state to effect the arrest of Barrister El-Sudi for alleged impersonation as the state chairman of the party.
Honourable Amadu noted that Barr. Elsudi does not have legal standing to act as chairman of the party as he was legally removed on February 10, 2023 from office by a two/third majority of the state working committee of the party through a vote of no confidence.
He said the decision was communicated to and acknowledged by the Party's National Working Committee.
They added that Chief David Sabo Kente and the Senator elect Honorable David Jimkuta used their resources to organize a mega rally for the Presidential Campaign of Bola Ahmed Tinubu shortly before the election, which is the only APC mega rally for Tinubu/Shettima presidential Campaign in the state.
Honourable Amadu appealed to the National leadership of the APC to call Barrister El-Sudi to order before he created an irreparable confusion in the party.
