Rima Shawulu, Charles Maijankayi, Jesse Ashumate, Ibrahim Imam Defeated At PDP Primaries




 Member representing Takum, Ussa Donga Federal Constituency Rima Shawulu, Member representing Karim I Hon. Charles Maijankai, Former Commissioner for Finance Dr. Jesse Ashumate and Former Commissioner for Youths and Sport Hon. Ibrahim Imam were among those defeated at the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) primary elections for Federal House of Representatives.

 The PDP primary elections for member representing Takum Donga Ussa and Yangtu Special Development Area federal constituency has ended up inconclusive.

 The party elections says out of 96  delegates who voted, both Haruna Gbana and Yahaya Ndatse pulled the same numbers of vote 43 ,Rimamde Shawulu Kwewum has 6  votes, Musa Boshe Sanda with one vote while Etikame Kadiri Angulu has not vote and three invalid vote.

 However, the Takum PDP returning officer for the primary elections Christopher Bako who announced the results declared no winner of the primary elections and that the next line of action would come from the party head office.

  For Karim Lamido, Lau and Ardo-Kola,  Abdullahi Audu Lauya  clinched the party's ticket at the just concluded primary.

 The candidate who pulled the highest votes of 52 to beat his opponents out of 95 votes cast emerged winner of the election.

 Lauya beat his opponents Charles Maijankai who got 21 votes, while Oliver Suleiman has 17 votes and Ayuba Jediel Balanko got 4 votes during the exercise.

 In Wukari, Commissioner of finance Jesse Ashumate lost to member representing Wukari 1 state constituency Hon Pius Sabo.

 Imam, seeking to fly the ticket of the PDP for Jalingo Yorro Zing federal constituency pulled 23 votes and  lost to Hon. Ismaila Yushau Maihanci who pulled 69 votes.

 For Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency, Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Bali stepped down for Hon. Jafar Yakubu Chiroma, making him emerged as the candidate of the PDP.

 Meanwhile, many people are excited about the inclusion and emergence of two women, Veronica Alhassan of Bali and Indo Markson of Donga as flag bearers on a major political party.

 In Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Federal Constituency, Hon. Joseph Titus Nagombe pulled 89 votes while his opponent Regina got 7 votes out of the 96 votes by the PDP delegates in the constituency as Jugulde and Audu Boly stepped down for him.
