DSK Urges Religious Leaders To Pray, Unite Politicians Across Parties


A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC  and Taraba Gubernatorial hopeful Chief David Sabo Kente DSK has called on Religion leaders to help unite Politicians across political divides in the State.


Speaking in Takum Taraba State at the  BETHEL Conference 2022, an annual religion event usually organized for the worshipers of the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria (CRC-N), Chief DSK encourage the Church to remain the panacea for unity amongst Brethren.

He reminded the Church of its role in Nation building, urging members to actively participate in leadership selections. In his words, "the Church must rise up to unite we politicians and must also intervene to discourage all the needless political bickering among us because its only when we are united that we can make progress." 


The theme of the Conference for this year titled "We Are Christ's Ambassadors" had in attendance many dignitaries that include the executive Governor of Taraba State Architect Darius Ishaku and Chief David Sabo Kente who came in from Abuja with a large entourage that include, APC Southern Taraba Senatorial Aspirant Hon Jimkuta SU David, Hon Murtala Muhammad Gamji who is also aspiring for Takum/Donga/Ussa Federal Constituency, Chief Bako Benjamin of JDAN, Hon Adi Masa-Ibi among others.


Chief David Sabo Kente while closing his remarks supported the Conference with a token of the sum of three million Naira (N3, 000, 000) in addition to his earlier commitment of three million Naira (N3, 000, 000) making it six million Naira (N6, 000, 000) altogether. In the same vein Jimkuta S.U David who is in the entourage of Chief DSK made a cash donation of five million Naira (N5, 000, 000).  


Chief David Sabo Kente also proceeded to the Reformed Church of Christ For Nations (RCCN's) 2022 Zion Convention. When at Zion Chief DSK expressed his delight with the numbers of attenders at the Conference urging members to maintain the tempo. He also used the opportunity to solicit for prayers from the RCCN church towards the unity and peaceful coexistence amongst politicians. Chief DSK made this calls bearing in mind that the heat of politicking is underway so Religious Leaders as panacea for Peace must step-in to caution and admonish Politicians to behave well. Chief DSK also made the donation of one million Naira (N1, 000, 000) to the conference adding to the sum of one million Naira (N1, 000, 000) he earlier gave. Also in the same vain, Jimkuta S.U David made the donation of two million Naira (N2, 000, 000) to the Zion conference.
