Mysterious Fire Razed FG's Drilling Rigs Senator Bwacha Allegedly Converted To Private Use

A mysterious fire have razed down a motorized Drilling Rig brought as a Federal Government funded constituency project for Southern Zone around Iware, Ardo kola Local Government Area of Taraba State. 

 The razed motorized drilling rig was  allegedly converted into Senator Emmanuel Bwacha's private venture, Shimo drilling Borehole.

According to eye witness report, the Drilling Truck got engulfed with flames while parked by the road side on its way  from Wukari to Jalingo for  commercial drilling activities.

Senator Bwacha have been dragged to the EFCC for converting the Drilling Rigs which was purchased as Constituency project to commercial business under this private company.

The socio-political group known as Concerned Citizens of Southern Taraba also alleged that Senator Bwacha under false pretence has diverted public property to private ownership and use,criminal conspiracy and fraud. Similarly, senator Bwacha was also accused of  converting the proposed Federal Government Suntai Dam in Donga Local Government Area to drilling company known as Shinmo rigs.

 Angry residents wondered why the rig was heading to Jalingo when it was only to be used in the Southern part of the state.

"Bwacha instead of using the constituency project of a Drilling Rigs to be providing boreholes across Southern Zone turned it to a commercial venture for himself and was making profits out of a public property. It's sad it was engulfed in fire. But we will demand Bwacha replaced it and held responsible for damaging a public property." Daniel Likam said.
