Youths Urged To Shun Politicians Who Cannot Provide Job, Improve Living Standards


Chairman Taraba State Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Evang Jesse Ephesian has called on Youths in the state to shun  politicians who cannot provide jobs or improve their living standards in any way, but using them as thugs, social media propaganda machines is the greatest wisdom they can ever employ.

 

Jesse cautioned the Youths in the state to eschew all form of social vices that is causing civil unrest, calling on them to be law-abiding citizens as they are the back borne of the state's economy, urging them to chart a way forward for unity by embracing peace as the only way to bring about sustainable peaceful coexistence in the state.

 

 

Jesse made the call while inaugurating the Yorro Local Government newly elected zonal officials, cautioned them on the need to shun social vices and the repercussions of embracing illicit ways of life as leaders of tomorrow can lead to destiny destruction.

 

Jesse advised Taraba Youths never to be willing instruments in the hands of selfish politicians which can further destabilize the fragile peace the state is enjoying.

 

 He further advised that fighting others, rampaging internet with abusive comments  to brew hate speech and spreading them across the various social media platforms is never a good omen for Tarabians and the entire country.

 

The leader of the Christian youths has equally enjoined them to pray for Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for more wisdom and knowledge to govern the state to an enviable state.

 

According to him their prayers and support for him to have a good administration will better all and that should be the yearning desires of all people in the State.

 

While frowning at the attitudes of the youths who reduced themselves to mere attacks dogs of some politicians, writing derogatory speeches, malignant and gutter messages against the government, he cautioned those Youths involving in such behaviors to desist from such actions because the Bible, one of the Holy books urges all believers to pray and support all constitutional authorities.

 

 

"His Excellency is working towards improving the better life of the Youth through employment and empowerment programs this I can testify. This is why I need them to pray for him always.

 

" Please my fellow Youths never you in any way take the law into your hands. On any security issue be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to the law enforcement agents or appropriate quarters." Jesse said

 

He however called on the Government of Darius to halt down the incessant killings and high rate of kidnappings within the state which is now a national problem that is seeking urgent attention.

 

While appealing to them to be calm and exercise patience over the high rate of unemployment bedeviling the nation, the youth leader cautioned them to be sensitive in ensuring that the right people are brought to power come 2023.

 

He expressed worry over what he described as unqualified politicians whom the Youths vote into place of authority with their votes are adding salt to the nursing injuries of ineptitude leadership across the state.

 

"This time around, I employ you to look inward, be cautious in taken a decision on who will be our next political leaders in 2023. Don't support anyone with the tendencies of dividing us, don't vote for a Man or Woman who doesn't have what it takes to be a leader and don't go for mediocre who are only after their belly. We shall votes for people who shall embrace the Youths and carry them along in all ramifications.

 

" People with primordial sentiments and nepotism mind set are people who we will not support in our coming elections. Be watchful, be on the good assessment of all those aspiring to be this and that." Jesse added
