Despite Covid19 Lockdown, Taraba Varsity VC, Prof Vincent Tenebe Completes Massive Projects

• Students, Staff Celebrate as Campus wears new look 

At a period when the world is battling  with Covid19 pandemic and many activities grounded, the Vice Chancellor Taraba State University Jalingo, Prof Vincent Ado Tenebe  is receiving commendations from staff and students of the University for the completion of various building projects changing the face of the University campus.

To the amazements of  staff, students and the university community five newly built buildings include a well-furnished twin lecture theaters, faculty of Agriculture, Social and Management Sciences among others buildings that were raised during the period the school  was shut down for Covid19 pandemic.

The new buildings were part of the numerous Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) projects attracted to the University by the VC, Prof Tenebe, the projects which has been made possible through the enabling environment created by the University's visitor and Taraba State Governor Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku's commitments to infrastructural developments in the state owned university has contributed greatly to the wave of developments in the university under the leadership of Prof Tenebe.

Also, the state Government had recently completed a world standard E-Library and Senate building in the school,  the project, which now stands out to be one of the best E-library and Senate building in the country are well furnished with modern furniture and facilities. 

Governor Ishaku has further approved the absorption of long time casual staffs who has been working since 2008 to permanent staff of the institution. 

The  Governor had earlier during a visit to the University commended the VC, Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe on the level of various developmental projects in the institution, stressing that the University is fast becoming a force to reckon with in the northern part of the country.
