Bobboi Kiagama to Gov. Ishaku: You wasted N150bnin four years
President of the Trade Union Congress and Chieftain of All Progressives
Congress, APC, in Taraba State, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama
has challenged the state governor Darius Ishaku to list his achievement in
office in the last four years, saying he wasted N150 billion in the last four
years. Kaigama speaking on Kaakaki, a
breakfast show on Africa Independent Television AIT lamented that the governor
could not explained what he has used money accrued from internal generated
revenue for the development of the populace.
Kaigama who led the APC Governorship Campaign Council said the state government
made a lot of money from Internal Generated Revenue in the last four years but
Governor Darius Ishaku didn't spent it for development of the State.
“ They should have listed the
achievements of Gov Darius in the last Four years, apart from collecting loans
from banks for their selfish interests. Let them list projects that have
touched the lives of Tarabans with their respective costs for people to know.
“Rather what we have in Taraba state
now is increased insecurity occasioned by kidnappings masterminded by Governor
Ishaku’s thugs and militia groups.
Let Darius know that at the fullness
of time he will account for the waste of over 150 billion naria over the last
four years, all the loans and bail outs will be accounted for.
Today the state is not paying gratuities,
pensioners are being owed, and salaries paid in peanuts and you can’t imagine
the debt profile of Taraba under Governor Darius yet no commensurate
development across state to justify the money.” BBK said.
