APC Guber: Sani Danladi heads s to Supreme Court, challenges Appeal ruling on disqualification





The federal Court of Appeal sitting in Yola has strike out the Appeal filed by former acting Governor of Taraba state Alh Abubakar Sani Danladi.
In A judgement delivered on 3rd May, 2019, a unanimous decision read By Justice Chidi Uwa. The Court held that the Appeal is incompetent and is hereby struck out. Sani Abubakar Danladi was disqualified from contesting the 2019 General election by the Federal High court in Jalingo where Justice Stephen Pam delivered and restrain INEC and APC from recognising, accepting and treating Danladi as APC Candidate.
The Federal High Court in a similar verdict held on 3rd may, 2019 in Yola declared that the information contain in the Affidavit that Sani Danladi was born on February 14, 1968 was in conflict with his date of birth contained in the West African Senior School Certificate he submitted to INEC in an inect form cf 001 which indicates that he was born on May, 3, 1977 and therefore stand disqualified.
Earlier the Court of Appeal had ordered the parties to maintain Status quo ante pending the determination of the motion filed by Sani Abubakar Danladi in the federal Court of Appeal which is now over and stand disqualified.
